A cold breeze is just around the corner which means it's time to pack away straw bags and transfer to your classic leather pieces. Here are a few tips on how to rejuvenate your wares to their original splendor.

> Airing-out
Simply open all the compartments on your piece and let it air for a couple of days, and that should release all the strong leather smell that accumulated while in storage.

>Cleaning
All you need is a clean piece of cotton cloth and gently wipe around the bag. Remember not to use anything wet or even dampened. If you're not sure about wax, inquire with a leather specialist.

> Leather conditioning
Depending on where you bought your leather accessory, some establishments offer a yearly reconditioning service to maintain the life of your piece. For example, if you own an April in Paris bag, Beatrice would invite you to bring in your piece annually. Reconditioning usually takes about an hour.
